The Kachelofen Suite is in fact a very large room with several functional areas. The 'pièce de résistance' is our famous Kachelofen (comes from the German word for a ceramic slow-combustion stove which gives a very enjoyable radiant heat and are often used in Central and Northern Europe), which was designed expressly for the room and can be used, as in Europe, both as heat source in winter and a comfortable king-size bed year around. Access to the bed requires a level of mobility as one uses the stairs located on the one side. We also heat with geothermal sourced radiant floors.

Open your French doors onto the European style cobblestone piazza at the base of the medieval tower. There are two sitting areas with sofas and chairs and a table for dining with circular bench in the room. A unique living space! The washroom with glass shower is located a few steps from your suite in an ajoining area.
